For HRPT image capturing and satellite tracking I use a
standard "el cheapo" notebook computer with a 633MHz Celeron
processor and 192 Mbyte RAM.
Since I own an Alblas
decoder, I use his HRPT.EXE program in a DOS-window in
Windows ME. In the same window I run concurrently InstantTrack
for antenna tracking ( see my Rotor-Page ).

Postprocessing is done on a Desktop PC equipped with an AMD
Duron Processor 1GHz and 512 Mbyte RAM with David Taylor's
HRPT Reader for HRPT images and GeoSatSignal for
HRImages. Some picture correction and enhancment I do with
JASC Paintshop Pro V7.0
